Conspiracy 2

The second conspiracy states that Disney’s body is buried under the Pirates of Caribbean ride at Disneyland. According to Bob Nelson, former president of the Cryonics Society of California, Walt called him to ask for information about how many people had been frozen and what kind of facilities they had (nelson 1). Actually, nelson stated “The truth is, Walt missed out. He never specified it in writing, and when he died the family didn’t go for it’ (Nelson 1). There are legal documents that state Disney was indeed cremated. Even though Disney was a world wide figure, he was still very closed off and would not have wanted the public involved with his death or funeral. Still, with all this evidence to the contrary, this myth is a persistent one. Disney Studios was reportedly so annoyed by it that it is said to be the reason that they named their 2013 hit Frozen. This way, when someone looks up ‘Disney frozen’ online, they will not read about the dreaded myth but about their fun-filled hit movie (Nelson 1).
